2. Hosting and server logs

This website is hosted by Vercel Inc., 440 N Barranca Ave #4133, Covina, CA 91723, USA. When you visit the website, Vercel processes technically necessary data, in particular your IP address, date and time of access, the requested address, the amount of data transferred and browser and operating system information (server logs). This processing serves to deliver the website and keep it secure; the legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. We have a data processing agreement with Vercel. For transfers to the USA, Vercel relies on the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework and Standard Contractual Clauses.

3. No cookies, no tracking

This website sets no cookies and uses no analytics or tracking tools. All fonts are loaded from our own server; there is no connection to Google Fonts or any other font service.

4. Early access form and contact by email

When you submit the early access form, your browser sends your details (the option you chose, name, email address and what you build) to a function of this website at Vercel. It forwards them as an email to contact@makefont.ai and does not store them. We use Resend (Plus Five Five, Inc., 2261 Market Street #5039, San Francisco, CA 94114, USA) as a processor to send this email; transfers to the USA are based on the EU Standard Contractual Clauses, and the provider is also certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework. If you email us directly, we receive the details contained in your email.

We process your details to answer your request and to contact you about MakeFont (Art. 6 (1) (b) and (f) GDPR). Our email is processed by Google Workspace (Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland); we have a data processing agreement with Google. We delete your data once it is no longer needed for this purpose and no statutory retention obligations apply.

5. Your rights

You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing and data portability, and the right to object to processing based on Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. To exercise them, write to contact@makefont.ai. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority, for example the Berlin Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information.
